AMR to RA: Convert Audio from AMR(Adaptive Multi-Rate) to RA(RealAudio) with River Past Audio Converter, AMR2RA converter, conversion
What is
AMR?
Adaptive Multi-Rate
(AMR) is an audio data compression scheme optimized for speech coding. AMR was
adopted as the standard speech codec by 3GPP
in October 1998 and is now widely used in GSM. It uses link adaptation to select
from one of eight different bit rates based on link conditions.
To decode AMR audio, you need to have Apple QuickTime
installed.
What is
RA?
RealAudio was developed
by RealNetworks and supports FM-stereo-quality
sound. To hear a Web page that includes a RealAudio sound file, you need a RealAudio
player or plug-in, a program that is freely available from a number of places.
More information is available on RealNetwork
web site.
To convert other audio formats to RealAudio, you will need River
Past RealMedia Booster Pack in addition to your audio software.
