FLAC to RA: Convert Audio from FLAC(Free Lossless Audio Codec) to RA(RealAudio) with River Past Audio Converter, FLAC2RA converter, conversion

What is FLAC?

FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec, an audio format similar to MP3, but lossless, meaning that audio is compressed in FLAC without any loss in quality. This is similar to how Zip works, except with FLAC you will get much better compression because it is designed specifically for audio.

FLAC is a free lossless audio format. It differs from MP3, WMA, MP4 and other formats with lossy compression because it does not cause quality loss. However, the compression ratio is lower.

To convert FLAC audio to other formats with River Past software, you will need to install either CoreFlac or DC-Bass Decoder.

What is RA?

RealAudio was developed by RealNetworks and supports FM-stereo-quality sound. To hear a Web page that includes a RealAudio sound file, you need a RealAudio player or plug-in, a program that is freely available from a number of places.

More information is available on RealNetwork web site.

To convert other audio formats to RealAudio, you will need River Past RealMedia Booster Pack in addition to your audio software.
