OGM to iPod: Convert OGM(OGG Media) video to iPod with River Past Crazi Video for iPod
What is
OGM?
Ogg Media (OGM), meaning
Ogg Media File, is a container format (for video, audio and subtitle streams).
It was developed by Tobias Waldvogel and can do a few things the common AVI
format cannot.
OGG Media is a video file format with OGG container. It is not as popular
as Matroska.
To convert OGG media files to other formats with River Past software,
please have either Torbias' OGG
DirectShow Filters or Radlight
Ogg Media Filters installed. You may also need CCCP.
Launch Crazi Video for iPod
Please make sure iTunes is functioning properly on your computer. Once Crazi Video for iPod is installed, launch Crazi Video.
Add File
Click on the "Add File" button on the tool bar. The standard file open dialog appears. Select "OGM - OGG Media" in its "Files of type" combo box.
Select the file you want to convert and click "Open". The file will be added to the conversion file list.
Note: To convert from OGM files, please have CCCP installed.
River Past Crazi Video for iPod
Change individual file settings
Select the file in the conversion list. An additional panel "Convert File" appears.
Click on the toggle to expand the panel.
If you want to extract the audio from the video, select "Audio" as the "Media Type".
The aspect ratio is retrieve from the original video file. In some cases, this value may be incorrect. To change it, you can either select from the list, or type in a value.
Select output directory
Expand the "Output Directory" panel. Use the "Browse" button to select an output directory.
Convert
Click the "Convert" button on the tool bar.
