Sync iTunes to Walkman with River Past ShadowTunes

Launch ShadowTunes

ShadowTunes enables you to sync your iTune library content to non-Apple devices.

It should be installed on the same PC as your iTunes software.

Note: ShadowTunes does not sync DRM protected content purchased from iTunes store. Those files cannot be played by non-Apple devices anyway. Only ripped content can be synced.

Connect Walkman Phone

Connect your Sony Walkman phone to your PC with the supplied USB cable. Your Walkman will appear as a storage device in Windows.

Click the "Settings" button. That's the first button on the top of the ShadowTunes window.

ShadowTunes brings up the settings dialog.

Select "Sony Walkman" as the Device Type. Click OK to close the dialog.

ShadowTunes will find your connected Walkman phone automatically.

Select Playlists

ShadowTunes shows you your iTunes playlists. Select the playlists which you want to sync to your Archos player.

Sync

Click the "Sync" button. That's the last button on top of the ShadowTunes window.

ShadowTunes will start syncing your iTunes playlists to Walkman. It will detect the media file types, and convert the files if necessary.
